Bricked asus T100TA repair

Anonymous asked June 6, 2015

I have bricked an asus T100TA by using EasyFlash to try and update the bios.  This is apparently a common problem – there is a whole blog devoted to it:  but it does not appear to have an easy solution short of replacing the motherboard.  The tablet will not boot at all, the only thing that happens when you press the power button is that the led by the button comes on.  Are you able to repair this and if so what would it cost?

Hi there Thomas!
With any bricked device, it is a 50/50 chance of whether or not it can be repaired without the motherboard being replaced.
The only thing i can suggest is for you to book it in as a ‘Diagnostic’ and we can have a look and try our best to get it sorted for you. If we manage to unbrick this successfully you are looking at around £45 (Minus the £14.99 paid for the diagnostic originally)
Many thanks
