Can you JTAG resurrect a Nexus 4?

Hi there,

I have a Google Nexus 4 that now fails to power on, and I cannot get to boot into fastboot mode to even try reflashing it myself.  Despite replacing the USB connector, it is not correctly detected by Windows 7 or 8.1 (using Wug’s NRT: http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/).  I’m pretty sure the only thing left to try is resurrecting it via JTAG, but this requires some rather specialised tools:

Is this something you guys can do, and if so how much would it cost?

Thanks

Geoff

Hi Geoff!
Unfortunately this is becoming quite a common problem with Nexus devices. But I’m afraid its not something that we offer a service for at the moment, as it is quite often unsuccessful anyway.

Many thanks!
